How to Build Big Muscle
June 17, 2009 by Admin
Every bodybuilder or gym enthusiast wants to build big muscle. That’s why they keep on lifting those heavy weights and sticking to their nutrition plans. They don’t put themselves through so much stress on the body for any other reason.
They want the biggest muscles in the gym and want people to look up to them. They want to look good in tight fitting clothing and impress the ladies.
This all sounds so good, it’s no wonder bodybuilding is becoming so popular. It’s not only a great way to tone your body, it’s also good to your overall health to be burning calories and watching what you are eating.
Here are some tips to build big muscle fast:
Start Training With Heavier Weights – This sounds simple but many people just continue doing the same amount of reps with the same weights. This is no way to grow your muscles. You need to put them under constant stress in order for them to grow to cope with the extra stress. So increase your weight until you cannot do more than 12 reps. This is the perfect weight for now.
Don’t Train Everyday – When starting out it is very important to give your muscles enough time to rest and grow. So don’t train every single day. Train every other day and you will see improvements faster.
Mix Up Your Weekly Training Routine – The body is a very clever thing indeed. If you do the same exercises every week, it will adapt and only burn certain calories from set areas of the body. But if you mix up your exercises on different days, it forces the body to burn more calories because it doesn’t know what is coming next.
If you follow these tips, you’ll be able to build big muscle faster than the guy who you keep seeing at the gym.
